These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Canary app (the "App"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Your Account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the App.

Free Plan

The App can be used for free with usage limits (for example, number of decks, words per deck, scans, and games per day). The Free plan may display ads. Limits may change over time and are always shown inside the App.

Canary Pro Subscription

• Canary Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that removes usage limits and ads. It is offered in monthly and yearly plans; current prices are shown in the App before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Eligible new subscribers may receive a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically and you will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. You can restore previous purchases from the App (Profile → Restore purchases).

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to access it by unauthorized means, interfering with its operation, reverse engineering it, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the words, decks, and other content you create. You grant us the limited right to store and process this content solely to provide the App to you.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, mascot, texts, and software, belongs to Canary and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or content outside the App.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". We work to keep definitions, translations, and features accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Canary is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.

Termination

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Apple Standard EULA

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In case of conflict, these Terms prevail to the extent permitted.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the consumer rights guaranteed by the laws of your country.
